That’s why we go above and beyond to deliver a world class experience!

When you stay at Shady Roost, you’ll get to enjoy the luxury of a beautiful knotty pine cabin set on our private 8-acre island. Every cabin is outfitted with queen beds, 24/7 electricity, wi-fi and satellite TV to maximize guest comfort. We also have A/C in our cabins to keep you cool on those hot summer nights and heat for the cool spring and fall weather! And you don’t have to worry about the bugs; our screened porches keep the mosquitos and flies at bay so you can enjoy the Canadian wilderness unbothered.

You don’t have to ‘rough it’ for meals, either. Breakfast and dinner are prepared by our fantastic chef and served in our dining room. For after dinner entertainment, you can gather in our ‘party room’ down on the water, watch TV, sit around the firepit on the fire deck and watch the sunset, and play poker, shuffleboard or foosball with your fellow guests.

If you haven’t had quite enough fishing with your guides during the day, you can hop in one of our 16’ skiffs with 20 hp electric start motors and do some fishing after dinner.
